Description
DEIMOS Engineering and Systems provides high-technology engineering solutions, as well as information systems, products and services of maximum quality, innovation and added-value to its customers.
DES participate in the majority of ESA programmes, providing systems engineering, ground segment, mission analysis and design and onboard software solutions, as well as satellite integration, in the fields of Science and Exploration, Satellite Navigation, Earth Observation, Space Situational Awareness, and Launchers.
Their capabilities include the development of turnkey operational systems for aeronautical and maritime applications, both civil and military. Additionally, we provide services for the transport sector, applications for the optimisation of industrial processes, digital transformation solutions and location-based services.
Role in the project
DES will make use of the findings derived from the 7SHIELD project to detect security gaps and improvement opportunities that could be corrected or implemented in future projects and customer services. This will result in improvements into our physical & IT infrastructure to implement in our ground segment required to operate and exploit Earth Observation satellites. DES has extensive experience and expertise in the Ground Segment, facilitating the generation of cases for the validation of new security systems.
