Role in the project
ENGINEERING is the Project Coordinator. ENGINEERING will bring in the project its knowledge and expertise about Security and Critical Infrastructure Protection including some assets related to the integrated Cyber-Physical Situational Awareness, Threat Intelligence and System specification and integration. Moreover, ENGINEERING will monitor the Pilot preparation and planning and the development of the Exploitation and Sustainability plan, Intellectual Property (IP) protection for the proposed solutions.
Cyber and Physical Threat Intelligence
This tool will provide capabilities for acquiring knowledge from multiple sources about threats and for anticipating/identifying new and emerging cyber or physical threats, as well as complex/hybrid threats. Thus, relevant information will be searched in both public and deep web, and then collected, analysed, correlated and organized in order to support decision-making by providing information about attack techniques, indicators of compromises, and vulnerabilities.
7SHIELD platform integration
In the framework of 7SHIELD a unified, holistic platform will be deployed. The platform integrates cutting-edge technologies ranging from IoT, sensors and drones to artificial intelligence, visual computing and machine learning so as to provide innovative services covering all the phases of the Critical Infrastructure Protection: prevention, detection, response and mitigation technologies of C/P threats. The platform is designed on top a layered architecture ensures that the individual parts of the integrated solution will work together seamlessly and effectively. The proposed core framework is modular, flexible and easily customized and applied to various Critical Infrastructures and their main assets, such as Space Systems, Ground Segments and Satellite Data assets.
